| Notes | Actors must be available for all scheduled performances and should make every effort to attend rehearsals when called. Actors will not be called every day, but will be expected to attend if needed. Full attendance is required during the final week of rehearsals and for all technical rehearsals. June will be a traveling month for the troupe, with rehearsals being at all our various performance venues to adjust blocking, logistics, and technical equipment as needed. This is for the actor's benefit, to help them acclimate to the space and get used to performing in our various venues. This production will primarily rehearse on the North Fork/East End of Long Island and tour several outdoor venues throughout Suffolk County. Actors should be comfortable performing outdoors during the summer season. A stipend will be provided to all actors. Northeast Stage is committed to inclusive casting and encourages performers of all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, and abilities to audition. |
| Instructions | Please prepare 10–15 lines of a Shakespearean monologue (dramatic or comedic). Auditioners should be prepared to read sides from the script during the audition. |
| Rehearsal Dates | Rehearsals will run April 27 through July 9, 2026. Rehearsals will typically be held Sunday through Friday evenings, with Thursdays and Saturdays off. Not all actors will be called for every rehearsal. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided after casting. |
