Stage Manager Needed
The Community Playhouse of Northport seeks a Stage Manager for our Fall Main Stage Production of Annie Warbucks. We are located at 158 Laurel Avenue, Northport. The position begins on September 16th and runs 2-4 weekday evenings weekly until our show performance dates: 11/15, 11/16/ 11/17, 11/22, 11/23, 11/24. This is a stipend position.
The SM will serve as the right hand to our director and as the liaison to the rest of the production team. Candidates should be organized self-starters with strong leadership skills. The SM will work at the director’s side at the beginning of the rehearsal process, work alongside our scenic directors to create sets and props, and manage the stage crew and cast backstage during November rehearsals and all show performances.
Our rehearsals are generally Monday-Thursday from 6:30-9:30. Several Fridays are also used as work nights for set construction projects.
