Musical Positions Needed

The Community Playhouse of Northport is seeking a Musical Director for Season 4 productions, beginning at the end of May 2025. The ideal candidate will commit to our entire season, which includes a 4-week summer camp, weekdays from 9:15 am-3:45 pm, beginning July 7th, our adult Bucket List show that rehearses 3 weekday night evenings starting at the end of May, June and July, our Fall Mainstage show (Sept-Nov 2025), and our Spring Main Stage show (March-May 2026).

If someone is not able to commit to our entire season, we will allow applicants to apply for an individual show and/or our summer camp.

Our musical director will prepare the cast vocally for the show, rehearse with the orchestra, and conduct during the show. Serving as the pianist is a plus. The music director at our camp will also serve as a member of our camp staff, interacting with campers throughout the day and also helping campers prepare for our last day of camp cabaret.

Competitive stipends for each production and as a member of our camp staff.
Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to:
communityplayhousenorthport1@gmail.com. Please indicate if you are applying for the entire season or a specific show/camp.
