The Community Playhouse of Northport is seeking a Stage Manager and Production Stage Manager for their Spring Main Stage Show, SpongeBob.

Stage Manager position would begin in mid-February, Mon-Wed evenings until April and then Mon-Thurs. SM will work directly with the show director during rehearsals, recording blocking and taking notes on props and set needs.  SM would work with PSM to manage stage crew and help run the show.  There is one all day rehearsal on Saturday, 4/18. Tech Week begins on 4/13 and dress rehearsals are 4/20-4/23. 5 performances: 4/26, 4/27, 5/1 at 7:30 and 4/28 and 5/3 at 3:00 PM.This is a stipend position. Production Stage Manager position would begin in March and work with the director, producer, and SM to coordinate production needs regarding the creation of sets and props. PSM would oversee tech and dress rehearsals, assign stage crew to tasks and call the show. PSM would attend work nights and supervise creation of sets. Schedule of days is flexible in March. Note that set work nights are typically Friday evenings. PSM would be needed Mon-Thur for the month of April. There is one all-day Saturday rehearsal on 4/18.
