Description
Shakespeare in Hollywood is a play by Ken Ludwig. It is set in 1934 and follows Max Reinhardt’s problematic 1934 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The play is about Oberon and Puck, two of Shakespeare's most famous fairies, who have magically materialized on the Warner Bros. Hollywood set of A Midsummer Night's Dream. They are ushered onto the silver screen to play themselves and are thrown into loopy love triangles with raucous results.
