Description
Annie Warbucks is a heartwarming, family-friendly musical and a great way to kick off the holiday season. The story begins exactly where the story of Annie left off. On Christmas Day, just as Annie and her friends celebrate her adoption by Oliver Warbucks, the festivities are interrupted by Commissioner Harriet Doyle of Child Welfare, who informs Warbucks that as a single man, he is ineligible to adopt Annie. Thus ensues a search for him to quickly find a wife before Annie's adoption is null and void. However, things are not as they appear at face value, as a plot is afoot by Commissioner Doyle to trick Oliver into falling in love with a woman who has a shady past and plans to get rid of Warbucks and steal all of his money. Will our villains succeed or will Oliver Warbucks finally realize that his true love is right in front of him, in his trusty secretary, Grace Farrell? This show has a fantastic score and audience goers will be enchanted with this story and wonder why this show is rarely performed on Long Island.
