Description
A critically acclaimed 1980's play, it is widely considered an American classic. The play revolves around two brothers, Lee - a drifter, and Austin - a screenwriter, as they navigate their contrasting lifestyles in a sometimes violent, sometimes comedic fashion. True West was written by Pulitzer Prize winning author Sam Shepard. The New York magazine described Shepard as "the greatest American playwright of his generation".
