| Notes | All students in grades 6-8 who attend auditions on Wednesday, November 4th will attend Callbacks on Friday, November 6th. There will be a second round of callbacks on Sunday evening, November 8th. All students in grades 9-12 who attend auditions on Thursday, November 5th will attend Callbacks on Tuesday, November 10th. There may be a second round of callbacks on Thursday, November 12th. Callback prep material will be uploaded before callbacks at the drive link below, and may be updated/edited. | Show Info | This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell's beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. |
