She is initially nervous and financially desperate, but is a tenacious fighter who grows strong and determined as she battles for possession of the rare stamps. | Mary | F | 30-40 | 30-40--Jackie's estranged, well-educated, and sophisticated half-sister. He is passionate about stamps, desires the rare ""Blue Mauritius"" with a carnal intensity, and is willing to use violence to get what he wants. | Phillip | M | 50+ | 50+--A grumpy, by-the-book, and inflexible stamp-shop owner and appraiser. He is initially dismissive of Jackie but harbors a long-standing grudge against Sterling, which fuels his own conniving interest in the collection. |
