Incredibly proficient, articulate, humorless, tireless. | Sam Weinberg | M | 30-35 | Detail oriented, research genius, family man, second chair for the defense, and part-time straight man to Kaffee's humor. | Whittaker | M | 40-55 | Capt. Isaac Staff Judge Advocate in charge of a number of lawyers who is responsible for handing out assignments to the attorneys. | Dawson | M | 25-30 | Lance Corporal Harold W., he is young, strong, determined, moral, proud, and a sort of 'older-brother' of sorts to his fellow defendant. | Downey | M | 19-30 | Private First Class Louden, he is young, and clearly a 'follower' who has attached himself to Dawson. He has some slight learning issues and struggles with the ability to reason. | Santiago | M | 19-25 | Private William T., he is a mess, and a bit of a pathetic soul. Health problems make him a continuous target of other Marines who conduct disciplinary punishments, one of which causes his death. | Kendrick | M | 30-35 | Lieutenant Jonathan, a dedicated Marine who is clearly unhinged, suffering from Hyper religiosity. Very dangerous due to his rank, he also displays signs of sociopathic behavior. | Dr. Stone | F | 45-60 | Commander Kathleen. A coward. She is incompetent. Afraid of Col. Jessep to the point of perjuring herself in a murder trial. Book smart person who would clearly trip every wired explosive in the jungle. | Jessep | M | 40-60 | Colonel Nathan R, Commanding Officer of Marine Ground Forces Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Suffers from Moral disengagement, egoism, and narcissism. Not to mention being a raving misogynist. He is also, however, being groomed for a high-ranking position within the Department of Defense. | Ross | M | 30-40 | Lieutenant Jack, highly intelligent Marine, and friend of Kaffee, he serves as the prosecuting attorney in the case against Dawson and Downey. Tries desperately to keep the case from going to trial, and protect the careers of the officers. | Markinson | M | 40-50 | Capt. Matthew, probably the smartest of the bunch. Expert counter-intelligence officer, he struggles with his latest Permanent Change of Station where heat, boredom, and answering to a thug for a CO has sapped him of his moral fiber. | Valdez | F | 35-50 | Colonel Gabriela Aurora, the judge and the officer clearly in charge in the courtroom, and there is no question of that.
