ShowA Christmas Carol The Musical

NotesAttendance is required throughout tech week in the weekend prior to the show and the week leading up to opening night. Attendance is required at all performances and call time will be approximately 90 minutes prior to the show. Please come to the audition prepared to list any conflicts you may have in the months of rehearsal. Please note that JC Players is a non-profit community theater company and actors and actresses are all volunteers who are NOT paid. This is production that features adults in most roles but also includes a limited number of youth roles.
InstructionsAdult performers should prepare a song, preferably from A Christmas Carol. If selecting a song from another musical, please bring sheet music in the proper key. All performers will also be asked to read from the script. Some roles will be cast gender-blind. Children and teens ages 8-17 should prepare "God Bless Us Everyone" from A Christmas Carol (Broadway version)
Rehearsal DatesWill vary - weekday evenings and some Sunday afternoons. Will start with two dates per week and increase to three days per week as we get closer.

Ghost of Marley M0+Scrooge’s former business partner, who was like Scrooge in life. Returns as a ghost in chains to warn Scrooge about the consequences of his life decisions.

Mr. Fezziwig M0+A jolly man who used to throw a huge Christmas party every year. Scrooge’s first boss who taught him everything he knew and was deeply disappointed in what Scrooge became.
Mrs. Fezziwig F0+The consummate hostess and Mr. Fezziwig’s wife, she loved helping throw the annual Christmas party.
