These Shining Lives follows Catherine Donohue and her friends as they face devastating illnesses, and face corporate greed and medical denial in the fight for justice. Inspired by the true story of the women working at the Radium Dial Company in the 1920s and 30s, who unknowingly poisoned themselves with radium while painting watch dials, the play is simultaneously beautiful, heartbreaking, touching, and empowering.
