Unique Technical Role Needed! Sound Engineer / Performer
Roles
PWPT is seeking a creative individual for a unique technical position that combines live sound mixing that could be combined with a small acting role. We are casting a Sound Engineer who will mix sound live on a mixing board on stage while performing in character as an organist behind an organ facade, evoking the atmosphere and charm of a vintage radio show.
Audition Notes
All sound files are provided, but we would also welcome a Sound Engineer who is interested in bringing their own creative ideas and flexibility to the role. Candidates should have some experience with sound cues or a strong desire to learn and develop these skills.
This distinctive role is an integral part of both the creative team and the cast. The Sound Engineer will work in tandem with a Foley Artist (cast), who will create and perform live sound effects on stage, bringing to live, A Christmas Carol - Radio Play by Anthony Palermo.
