InstructionsPlease prepare a 16 – 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song either from the show or in a similar style. An accompanist will be provided. A dance audition will follow vocal auditions for those asked to stay. Please wear footwear you are comfortable dancing in. Please bring possible rehearsal and/or performance conflicts to the auditions.

BeastM25-40The Beast is a Prince who was transformed into a monstrous creature by an enchantress as a punishment for his arrogance. Beneath his beastly exterior, he struggles with his need for love and acceptance. His character sings "How Long Must This Go On," and "If I Can’t Love Her."
GastonM25-40Gaston is the story's antagonist – a handsome, muscular, and extremely narcissistic hunter who is relentless in his pursuit of Belle. His self-centeredness is highlighted by his belief that Belle should naturally want to marry him. Gaston's key songs include "Me," "Gaston," "The Mob Song," and "Gaston (Reprise)."
LeFouM20-40LeFou is Gaston's comical sidekick who idolizes Gaston and is always trying to stay in his good graces. He provides comic relief but also shows a level of fear towards Gaston. He is featured in "Gaston," "Gaston (Reprise)," and "The Mob Song."
MauriceM45-65Maurice is Belle's eccentric father. He is an inventor and is seen as a bit odd by the townsfolk, but he shares a deep, loving bond with Belle.
Lumiere M30-50Lumiere is the castle's maitre d' turned into a candelabra. He is charming, warm, and romantic, with a suave French accent. He leads the ensemble in "Be Our Guest" and is also featured in "Human Again."
CogsworthM40-60Cogsworth, the castle's fastidious and nervous majordomo turned into a clock, constantly battles with Lumiere over the rules and order. His main song include "Human Again."
Mrs. PottsF40-60Mrs. Potts is the castle's kind and motherly housekeeper turned into a teapot. She comforts Belle and sings the iconic song "Beauty and the Beast."
ChipM7-10Chip is Mrs. Potts' son, an energetic and inquisitive young boy turned into a teacup. His innocence and optimism brighten the castle. He is featured in "Be Our Guest."
Madame de la Grande BoucheF30-50A former opera diva turned into a wardrobe, she yearns for the days of glamour and provides comic relief with her theatrical behavior. She is featured in "Human Again."
BabetteF25-35Babette is the flirtatious maid of the castle turned into a feather duster. She is featured in "Human Again" and "Be Our Guest."
